Kidnapping Suspect Nabbed After Police Find Woman Walking Near I-95

A man who kidnapped a woman and drove her against her will from Massachusetts to Connecticut was apprehended off I-95, police said.

Carlos Rosario-Infante, 34, of Holyoke, Massachusetts, was arrested around 7:55 a.m. on Sunday, Dec.30 by Milford Police after officers noticed a woman walking south along Woodmont Road off Exit 40 of I-95, said Milford Police.

After speaking with the woman, police stopped a vehicle traveling north on Woodmont Road and found that Rosario-Infante had allegedly kidnapped the woman and drove her to Connecticut without her consent. He had also allegedly cut her several times with a razor blade telling her he was going to kill her, Milford police said.

During a search of the vehicle, officers found a facsimile firearm BB gun near the center console. 

He was charged with Kidnapping, disorderly conduct, threatening, assault, and having a weapon in a vehicle. 

Rosario-Infante is being held on $190,000 bond.
